Location: This position is based at our Support Center in Sacramento with opportunity for some remote work. Travel required to clubs throughout California.

JOB SUMMARY:

In-Shape Solutions Marketing Coordinator will work directly with the Director, Communication & Wellness Experience to support all fitness, wellness and marketing campaigns, programs, launches, and events for In-Shape and California Family Fitness (CFF). You’ll be responsible for scheduling social media posts, monitoring social media channels, building a robust library of UGC, plus coordinating, and executing marketing-driven in-club and community events, and responding to member messages. Your words and ability to organize and execute will bring our brands to life for our members through social media, events, and marketing. A passion for marketing, social media, the written word, health, wellness, nutrition, and the curiosity to find out what motivates someone to act is key to your success in this role.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES – WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Support all fitness and wellness campaigns, programs, launches and events for CFF and In-Shape:

o Assist in event logistics from ideation with team through to post-event recaps including but not limited to: meeting coordination, note taking, invite and platform coordination (i.e. Eventbrite etc.), coordinating website updates, scheduling, registration, coordination of vendors or partners, and run of show management.

o Support Communications Manager in CFF Community Outreach

• Monitor, review, escalate and respond to multiple email boxes.

IS and CFF Social Media Planning and Implementation

• Schedule and post all approved social media posts and events per the social media strategy and calendar for In-Shape and CFF to help drive the engagement and acquisition of members.
• Monitor and respond to In-Shape and CFF social media direct message inbox and escalate to Director of Communications as needed.
• Create original, engaging social media content (reels, videos, Tik Toks) from in club visits and shoots that features In-Shape team members and members.
• Monitor In-Shape and CFF club team pages for appropriate content and conduct.
• Maintain up to date In-Shape and CFF usernames and passwords file.
• Serve as Meltwater, CIPIO.ai, Perkville support by troubleshooting with vendors, reconnecting expired accounts and communicating system failures.
• Manage and build a robust UGC collection from CFF and IS club teams as well as members to repost on brand pages.
• In time, manage social comments and community, including commenting on and engaging with posts from followers, non-followers, influencers, and brands.
• Create briefs for creative and video content.
• Ability to manage social media posts and insights using Meltwater our media monitor and social listening platform.
• Stay abreast of current best practices in the industry and review competitor websites and social channels to compare their activities with In-Shape.

IS and CFF Marketing Support as needed:

• Basic website updates
• Simple email deployment
• Photoshoot and model coordination

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS – WHO YOU ARE:

• Bachelor’s degree in Communication, English, Journalism, Marketing, Business, or related field.
• Preferred 1-2 years’ experience in social media, Communications or Marketing for an agency or brand
• A team player who can work quickly and efficiently with the ability to organize, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
• Analytical thinker with creative problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of social media platforms (IG, FB, Tik Tok, Twitter, YouTube, and new trends) including detailed knowledge of current online tools and marketing trends, including SEO.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Passion for fitness with a curiosity to stay up on current fitness trends and social media trends.
• Position is based at our Support Center in Sacramento with opportunity for some remote work. Travel required to clubs throughout California.
