About the role: The Marketing Coordinator will be assigned initiatives and projects that support the overall marketing strategic plan. Chesapeake Electric strategy lends itself to a 90-day focus aligned to the overall 1-year marketing plan. They will coordinate efforts from external vendors, work closely with key internal teams including customer service and participate in weekly meetings looking for key insights AND improvement to current efforts. For this individual to be successful in this role they must be a passionate, continuous learner with an entrepreneurial attitude and drive to win.

Your responsibilities

1. Implement & manage marketing budgets

a. Maintain all media contracts

b. Review & approve all marketing invoices

c. Perform monthly budget reconciliations

2. Creative coordination

a. Traffic all creative according to deadlines

b. Develop & maintain all media calendars

c. Communicate planned media to internal stakeholders

3. Website, Listings Management & Social Media

a. Manage all Social Media Channels, engagement, and response management

b. Maintain all public listings and profiles for accuracy & completeness

c. Assist with any website changes

4. Lead Aggregators

a. Review all profiles for completeness and accuracy and document for reference

b. Maintain the GLS profile, manage the daily leads and review solicitation process

c. Maintain other lead aggregator platforms as necessary

d. Research and report on any lead platforms for consideration

5. Email Marketing

a. Coordinate the execution of all content development and distribution

b. Develop email campaign strategy and templates

c. Analyze Campaign performance and recommend improvements

6. Reputation Management

a. Maintain review solicitation tool and distribute monthly scorecard

b. Monitor online reputation sites

c. Respond to all public reviews or escalate accordingly

d. Champion efforts to increase the number of positive company reviews

e. Formulate a library of scripts for public review response

7. Maintain all Marketing Data & analytics

a. Maintain monthly marketing KPI’s

b. Maintain customer data for mailings

c. Collect and maintain competitive & market intelligence

d. Recommend improvements to marketing and customer service using performance data

8. Assist with special projects

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

· Monthly KPI reporting

· Media & Creative Calendars

· Creative placement

· Website, Listings and Aggregator platform maintenance

· Reputation Management Platform

· Email Marketing Platform

· Research & Competitive Data

· Budget adherence & reconciliation

· Collaborate closely with internal departments, Customer & Field Service, Training and Human Resources

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Self-motivated, detail oriented, results-driven personality

· Solid teamwork skills & Strong work ethic

· Strong analytical skills with the ability to cultivate metrics and identify meaningful trends

· Demonstrated experience with Email Marketing platforms

· Working knowledge of various social media and Reputation Management platforms

· Exposure to the basic principles of SEM and Google Products

· Must be extremely comfortable with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point)

· Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work independently

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE

· Minimum 3 years of experience in progressive marketing roles

· Experience managing vendors, consultants and agencies that serve in supportive roles

· Project Management experience a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
