Marketing Assistant Job at SocialMadeSimple
We are seeking a Marketing Assistant who excels at research, writing, and creative content development. This role will provide support to the marketing, sales, and fulfillment teams. You will be tasked with helping identify marketing trends and opportunities for growth, as well as creating marketing materials such as case studies and sales resources. Effective written and verbal communication skills and a high level of attention to details are both important keys to success in this role.

Please note that the base salary range for this role is $40,000-$45,000/yr.
What You’ll Do At SocialMadeSimple
- Collaborate with the Sales team to create unique, high-quality sales resources, including sales decks, one-page documents, e-books, etc.
- Work with cross-functioning departments to execute and manage special projects, such as crafting case studies, project briefings, and webinar decks
- Assist graphic design and internal fulfillment teams to create social media content and advertisements to generate awareness, engagement, and business for SocialMadeSimple
- Research, write, and edit blogs for online company resource center
- Write and design monthly newsletters to existing SMS clients and/or potential customers
We Are Looking For People Who
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Communications, English, Marketing or a related field
- 1+ years of relevant work/internship experience in the digital marketing space
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills with an ability to share and synthesize knowledge
- Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team while simultaneously managing independent workload/tasks
- Ability to think strategically and identify and resolve problems
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to balance multiple and competing priorities
Additionally, it's helpful, but not required, if you have:
- Experience in SEO, WordPress, paid advertisement management, graphic design (canva, adobe suite etc.), video editing, or email marketing
