Manufacturing Specialist Job at Tactile Medical
Overview: Responsible for assembling garments according to quality standards and established procedures, monitoring, inspecting, and reporting damaged or faulty components, maintaining a clean assembly area, and must maintain compliance with all appropriate regulatory requirements, including HIPAA.
Responsibilities:
- Inspection and testing of incoming components and assemblies, including test data entry
- Assembly of Flexitouch garments to quality standards and written work
- Accurate reporting of daily production quantities
- Maintain accurate inventories for all components and tools necessary to assemble garment
- Pick, pack and ship of products and marketing materials, if required
- Responsible for cleaning manufacturing area
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications: Education & Experience:
- Experience in Medical Device assembly and working with adhesives
- Experience with medical device assembly preferred
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and stay on task
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Ability to stand for 2-3 hours
- No travel expected
Knowledge & Skills:
- Basic computer skills necessary
- Able to provide on-going communications to Quality & Regulatory Affairs, peers, and management
