Standard Iron Thomson has a current opening for a Manufacturing Quality Inspector. Pay rate starts at $20.00 per hour!

The Quality Inspector will be responsible for approving in-process production per customer requirements and conforming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests and documenting these results. Promote a quality minded culture throughout the company. All candidates must be detail orientated with good communication skills. Ability to work closely with co-workers, suppliers and customers.
Job Requirements:
- Have a good work ethic and positive attitude
- Be a self-starter with the ability to work with little supervision
- Strong Math skills and basic Trig functions
- High school Diploma/GED
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following procedures and standards
- Ability to read blueprints and specifications, including GD&T.
- Romer with PC-DMIS experience
- Measurement hand tools: caliper, micrometer, height stand, Trimos height gauge, fillet weld gauge
- Inspect and measure materials or products being produced
- Experience with in-process FAI, PPAP's and ISIR inspections
- Document inspection results by completing customer reports, inputting data into the quality database
- Proficient in use of computers; Outlook and Excel knowledge
- Minimum 2 years quality manufacturing experience
