Job description

Entry Level & Experienced Clean Room Production Operators –12-hour day and night shifts, including weekends and holidays.

The primary responsibility will be to operate production equipment to produce high-quality ultra-pure silicon wafers in accordance with customer specifications. Successful candidates must possess skills and abilities sufficient to learn manufacturing issues and setups. These include equipment setups, process troubleshooting, and general problem-solving in daily manufacturing activities. Must be able to assist in continuous improvements with the equipment, processes, and yields.

Requires a minimum of High School diploma, or equivalent, and a minimum of one (1) year experience in working in a fast-paced, stand on your feet all shift work environment - fast food industry is a good example of previous work experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

In addition, candidates will be assessed on their knowledge and abilities with basic math and reading. Candidates will be trained in equipment and chemical safety, Statistical Process Control methods, cleanroom protocol, wafer handling, and basic computer skills. In addition, the ability to stand 75% of a 12-hour compressed work shift, routinely lift up 50 pounds and have effective English verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to take on extra shifts.

Base pay starts at $18.50/hour depending on relevant experience, plus 15% Night Shift Differential.
