About the role

We are looking to hire a Manager, Workplace Services to join our Workplace team. This is a hybrid office management/facilities operations role providing support to our San Jose, CA office. This role serves internal customers as well as represents Roku to external partners/vendors.


What you’ll be doing

  • Managing the services to support 700,000 sq. ft +/- Campus with a population of 3,000 employees once fully occupied
  • Managing and motivating a diverse experience team with varied skill sets and at various stages in their careers
  • Making guests and our people feel like HQ campus is a unique, welcoming, and efficient place to work and visit
  • Work with cross-functional resources to build a best-in-class campus which is fun, productive, safe, and efficient
  • Be a numbers person, knowing how to manage budgets will be key in this role. From finding cost savings to making a little go a long way are just some of the fiscal attributes we are looking for
  • Work across our teams supporting social events, from the annual holiday party to regular happy hours, the workplace team are here to deliver those experiences that make our people smile
  • Communicate effectively, on a regularly scheduled cadence, to ensure partner alignment
  • Work with our planning and facilities team to anticipate changes to campus needs, ensure all new hires are set up appropriately and leavers have a smooth transition
  • Balance a wide range of long-term projects to improve the day-to-day operations of the campus
  • Always look to make us better, proactively identify and recommend opportunities that focus on better methods to achieve objectives which may include process efficiencies, quality improvement, risk mitigation, cost improvements and any other relevant factors that influence workplace experience


We’re excited if you have

  • 7+ years of operations and office management experience, preferably in a fast-paced tech or professional services environment
  • Experience managing people and growing them for success
  • Available to lead projects as the business demands. Day, evening, and weekend execution is standard for this role
  • Someone with exceptional communication skills, an ability to explain the unexplainable, and a natural ability to gain the trust across all levels
  • Demonstrated entrepreneurial skill set, delivers hustle with style and grace
  • You have a strong attention to detail, organizational planning, time management, and multitasking abilities
  • You bring strong people and project management, organizational, logistical, research skills, and a demonstrated ability to run multiple projects and priorities within agreed timelines and budgets
  • You have an active, hands-on approach to problem solving
