Manager of Engagement Job at The Arc Central Chesapeake Region
The Arc Central Chesapeake Region (The Arc) supports people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) to live, work, and connect with their community.
As the Manager of Engagement, you will support the External Relations team in expanding The Arc’s brand, building a greater understanding of programs and services, and creating engaging opportunities to connect with the community across the greater Chesapeake region.
This position requires excellent written and oral communication skills, and the ability to work with people from all backgrounds. You will support the Chief of Staff in executing the Leading Boldy (the strategic plan) and will represent The Arc (as designated) throughout the community.
The ideal candidate for this position will be able to create meaningful connections aligned to The Arc’s strategic priorities. Candidates must be confident in engaging the public person, and in articulating why The Arc is an important part of our current health services landscape. They will possess a high degree of organization, strategic thinking, and resourcefulness.
This role requires 3 years of experience. The salary is $72,000 and this position comes with a competitive rewards package.
