Job Description
- Analyze the organizations technology needs and recommend possible upgrades for executives.
- Plan and direct installation and maintenance of computer hardware and software.
- Ensure security of an organization’s network and electronic documents.
- Assess the costs and benefits of new projects and justify funding on projects to executives.
- Learn about new technologies and look for ways to upgrade their organization’s computer systems.
- Negotiate with vendors to get the highest level of service for the organization’s technology needs.
- Manage day-to-day operations and report to executives.
- Oversee activities and professionals directly related to providing services.
- Direct and coordinate activities of concerned with production.
- Direct and coordinate the opportunity capture, RFP process and proposal negotiations.
- Meet with department heads, managers, supervisors, vendors to solicit cooperation and resolve problems.
- Develop and update project plans for information technology projects including information such as project objectives, technologies, systems, information specifications, schedules, funding and staffing.
- Review project status report to analyze and summarize information and trends.

- Develop and manage annual budgets for information technology projects Meet with department heads, managers, supervisors, vendors to solicit cooperation and resolve problems.
Job Requirements
Master's degree or its foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or an IT related field, and 5 yrs of exp. in job offered, IT Manager, or a related position. The position directly supervises one (1) Network Engineer and two (2) Human Resources Specialist.
Worksite Location: Sterling, VA and other unanticipated locations throughout the US. Candidate may be required to relocate to client locations for projects.
