Job Overview:
The Manager I, Product Management will support the product roadmap & value-creation agenda to develop a strong pipeline against key growth priorities for Enterprise-Wide Innovation. They will work collaboratively with Sales, Marketing and R&D to develop an innovation strategy that is grounded in retail consumer & food service customer understanding. They should be a forward thinker; challenging the status quo and leveraging research to support previously unidentified space and strategic decisions. This individual will report to the Director, Product Management.
Responsibilities:
  • Manage a focused set of Product Categories across several sales channels
  • Execute project and business management related activities: commercialization workflow, business case development, P&L management, capacity utilization & optimization, and strategy development and implementation
  • Own the product life cycle including providing a roadmap to the sales team which will fuel the product pipeline
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to infuse value into CTI’s business by leveraging internal data and resources, external research and insights, and innovation/IP
  • Serve as the Category Ambassador and collaborative business partner with corporate functional teams (Sales, Culinary/R&D, Plant Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, FP&A), to leverage the collective IQ and resources
  • Monitor industry trends, market share, competitive activity, and competitive product cuttings
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a business, marketing, or related discipline.
  • 2-4 years of category, product or business management experience required
  • Strong project management skills
  • Food Service or Retail CPG food experience required
  • Demonstrated understanding of food manufacturing, procurement, marketing & insights, product pricing, and sales principles
  • Strategic thinker who can translate insights and vision into an operational plan
  • The capability to influence and gain consensus with diverse teams and/or individuals from the business, including members of Executive Leadership.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced sometimes ambiguous environment, with rapidly changing priorities.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
