We are seeking a motivated and outgoing individual to fill the open role of the restaurant Manager for our new Hyde Park location. The restaurant manager will work under the direction of the General Manager and fills a variety of responsibilities, including overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant and making sure all of the customers are satisfied. From solving customer service issues to performing quality control on entrees, there’s nothing they don’t do. Typical duties include:

  • Manage the front of house to provide outstanding customer satisfaction
  • Resolve customer service issues and customer complaints
  • Monitor the performance of servers, bartenders, hostesses and kitchen staff
  • Train and educate staff members on new food and beverage service practices
  • Create schedules for full-time and part-time restaurant staff
  • Manage cash flow, records and credit card payments
  • Supervise inventory and ordering
  • Assure the restaurant is following all appropriate health and safety codes

Requirements:

  • Previous restaurant experience or proven knowledge of restaurant operations
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Exemplary customer service skills
  • Interpersonal skills

  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Organizational skills
  • Basic math and computing skills
  • Knowledge of current technology
  • Experience leading and training others

Preferred qualifications:

  • 2+ years of hospitality supervisory experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
