Team & Job Overview
Reporting to the VP of Brand Experiences, the Experiences Manager will play a key role in building exciting and engaging activations and events for a broad spectrum of diverse clients.
We are looking for a candidate with a strong desire to pursue a career in Experiences, Live Events and Corporate Events/ Hospitality. This individual should have an interest in marketing and events, with the desire to be extremely hands-on, seek out additional responsibilities, work well on a team and can function at a high-capacity in a fast-paced environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead the planning and execution of events across live, virtual and hybrid – from brief through to event production and reporting
• Collaborate with the creative teams advising on concept and project development through initial briefing to completion
• Management of events including but not limited to venue booking, H&S documents, production schedules and reporting
• Create presentations, tracking documents and other work product as needed
• Supervise and support all event staff to ensure client satisfaction
• Manage brand ambassadors, vendors and suppliers
• Oversee budget tracking and reconciliation
• Communicate with clients at a senior level from project brief to completion
• Assist the wider team with RFP responses as necessary
• Be on-site to execute events and activations
• Generate innovative ideas and present to clients
• Produce post-event evaluation to inform future events

Profile

• 4-6 years of previous work experience within the sports and/or events industry
• Prior experience in client services and communications
• Experience working with venues, suppliers and vendors
• Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to work collaboratively with individuals at all levels in the organization
• Skills including budget creation, logistics planning and management and reconciliation
• Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Drive
• Self-directed/self-starter individual with excellent organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced, independent environment
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and to tight deadlines
• Previous experience working nationally is a plus
• Understanding virtual events is a plus
• Understanding of marketing, branding and comms strategies is a plus

JOB CONDITIONS

• Must be able to lift 20 lbs
• May be required to be onsite at events some nights and weekends

Compensation And Benefits

SPORTFIVE provides a comprehensive suite of benefits including medical, dental, vision and retirement savings.

Salary Range: $58,500 - $75,000

SPORTFIVE is providing the compensation range it might pay for this position. The rate of pay offered will be dependent on the successful applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities in addition to internal equity and geographic location.
