Your Role
You will collaborate with senior and executive leaders in building out Evergreen from the ground up. You will get exposure to business development and growth opportunities, an opportunity to build a national networking base, and the ability to work among some of the most sought after thought leadership in the health care space.
Primary functions for the Manager of Clinical Documentation include:
- Serve as a risk adjustment subject matter expert to markets and leadership
- Manage data gathering processes for clinical documentation tracking and reporting
- Oversee programs to ensure complete and accurate diagnosis codes are identified and submitted to CMS for all patients
- Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of various risk adjustment programs, processes, infrastructure, and reporting, and make changes to improve results and effectiveness
- Interpret data trends related to clinical documentation to understand potential performance gaps (current or future) and develop action plans as needed
- Oversee internal and vendor processes, controls, and reporting to ensure effective clinical documentation processes are in place throughout the organization
- Act as an advocate for Market needs and influence change within risk adjustment workflows and processes to meet company objectives
- Host market level clinical documentation meetings to drive performance forward
- Coordinate clinical documentation projects, which may include leading cross functional teams

- Ability to think strategically and to understand the underlying business needs
- The ability to manage multiple priorities, deliver timely and accurate results while ensuring departmental needs are met
- You accept that things change quickly in a startup environment and are willing to pivot quickly on priorities
- Experience in a team-based service environment
- Ability to work independently and in a relatively unstructured manner
- Demonstrate genuine curiosity on the job when performing job functions
- Excellent communication skills, you must be bold enough to speak up when something is non-compliant
