Electrical Technician

Regal Rexnord Corporation is seeking to fill two Maintenance Technician positions at our Wausau, Wisconsin location.

GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION: Performs mechanical and machine installation, repair and maintenance responsibilities within a heavy industrial manufacturing site. Responsibilities include troubleshooting and repairing automated manufacturing machinery. Wisconsin Journeyman status preferred, but ability to complete the apprenticeship program is acceptable.

· Tuition reimbursement or,

· Educational funding available based on ability to complete accredited Apprenticeship program.

LIFTING / STANDING / PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Requires continuous walking, standing, kneeling, bending and lifting/carrying of up to 35 lbs. based on project need.

Required Capabilities:

Mechanic:

Prefer a Wisconsin journeyman but not mandatory. Must be willing to become a journeyman in ether Millwright or Maintenance Mechanic. But must have emphasis on mechanical and mechanical systems. The following are examples of the major qualifications and is not all inclusive.

Post high school education in related programs.

Proficient in the use of basic hand and associated power tools.

Basic under standing of machining with lathe, knee mill and grinder experience.

Established welding skills. (Mig, Tig, and cutting torch)

Ability to operate material handling equipment. (fork truck)

Understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

Able to read and understand blue prints, drawings and machine manuals.

Basic understanding of electrical schematics and controls.

High level of trouble shooting / problem solving skills.

Ability to lift ## pounds on a regular basis.

Working knowledge of LOTO and safety rules and regulations.

Work schedule is primarily day shift with some off shift work required based on production downtime.

Experience:

• Maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting
• Journeyman status preferred
