Madden Industrial Craftsmen is looking for a MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN to join a client in Phoenix.
MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct employee training in equipment operations and practice safety procedures or assign employee training to experienced personnel.
- Works on job duties and assignments as they relate to maintenance, repair, installing, fabricating, adjusting, troubleshooting, and any other maintenance duties as needed.
- Follow standards, budgets, production goals, and rates, based on company policies, equipment and labor availability, and workloads.
- Responsible for scheduled and/or performing preventive maintenance checks and departmental inventory control.
- Diagnose & resolve equipment malfunctions and operating difficulties related to, but not limited to, cranes/hoists, 3-phase motors, chillers, cooling towers, boilers, HVAC units, air compressors, pumps, exhaust fans, etc.
- Perform mechanical, electrical, and plumbing operations.
- Performs start-up and shutdown functions on plant equipment and facilities as required.
- Responds to emergency calls as assigned.
- Responsible for maintaining departmental documentation as required.
- Workings safely at all times in compliance with OSHA/EPA regulations and resolves cited safety issues in a timely manner.
- Participate in the handling, labeling, containment, and disposal of hazardous waste.
MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN REQUIREMENTS
- High School diploma or equivalent GED is preferred.
- Requires broad-based knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and plumbing acquired through hands-on training.
- Technical degree with a minimum of two (2) years or certification in HVAC systems or equivalent vocational school is a plus.
- Blueprint & schematic knowledge, Wastewater System Maintenance is helpful.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
