Walters & Wolf Precast Company is seeking an individual to fill the role of Maintenance Mechanic in Fremont, CA.

Job Description:

We cover a wide variety of maintenance from shop machinery such as electrical plugs, Hem saws, Chop Saws, Welders, vibrators & concrete sprayers to heavy equipment like Front End Loader, Shuttle Lifts, Forklifts, Sand pots & Electric Cart as well as maintaining a complete batch plant.

• Troubleshoot malfunctioning machinery, diagnose problems, and determine repairs. Communicate with management team to receive approval on repairs.
• Trace down electrical issues or problems
• Dismantle equipment to gain access to and remove defective parts using hoists, cranes, hand tools, and power tools.
• Perform regular maintenance to ensure equipment and machinery functionality.
• Communicate with the production team to ensure all machinery is running properly.
• Trade school or community college as a mechanic is a plus but not required.

• Minimum 5 years Mechanical experience required.
• Basic set of mechanical tools and toolbox required.
• Basic 480Æ electrical experience
• Previous experience working in an industrial environment.
