Maintenance Mechanic
Ross Aviation is currently seeking new team members who share our passion for customer service excellence and the aviation industry! The Maintenance Mechanic is a critical position on our team and responsible for providing a friendly, professional and courteous experience to all Ross Aviation customers, suppliers and employees. This position will report to the Maintenance Supervisor and is located in Fairbanks, AK.

Key duties include:
- Responsible for the maintenance and repair of all company and UPS vehicles and equipment.
- Complies with all current safety regulations, administrative procedures, methods, practices, and company standard operation procedures (SOP).
- Determines vehicle condition by conducting inspections and diagnostic test.
- Corrects vehicle deficiencies by removing, repairing, adjusting, overhauling, assembling, disassembling, and replacing major assemblies, sub-assemblies, components, parts, or systems, such as, power and drive trains, electrical, air conditioning, fuel, emission, brake, steering, hydraulics.
- Completes machine shop operations, adjusting and alignments including bearing loads, gear tooth contact, valve mechanisms, governors, oil systems, control linkages, clutches, and traction units.

- Be highly organized, motivated and detail-oriented.
- Enjoy working in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
- Be comfortable working on a small, but mighty team, and pitch in wherever needed.
- Be passionate about going the extra mile to service our customers.
- Prior Heavy maintenance background preferred.
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent (strongly preferred, but not required).
- Be a minimum of 18 years of age.
- Possess and maintain a minimum of a class B CDL license, with Tanker, Hazmat, Airbrakes indorsement.
- Be comfortable working with new technology and proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
Expected Hours of Work:
- This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week. Work schedule will be flexible with morning, evenings, nights and weekends included.
