HOA Maintenance Engineer
Our HOA Maintenance department runs on a schedule of 4 - ten hour shifts giving the right candidate, 3 consecutive days off. Our current schedule runs 7:30am - 6:00pm.
Provides maintenance and repair services for commercial buildings, vacation rental condominium units, and some residential vacation rentals. Our team is responsible for handling guest requests and interacting with our guests and owners in a professional and friendly manner. We provide a fun and safe environment for our team to work in with room for growth within our team. We also provide cross-training to expand your skillset to other HOA department functions.
Qualifications:
- Construction or handy man experience preferred, but not required. Will train the right individual with the right attitude.
- Must have valid driver’s license and an acceptable Motor Vehicle Driving Record.
- Ability to handle basic issues and problem solving - refers more complex issues to higher level staff / outside vendor
- Ability to work on your own / little supervision
- Dependable
- Ability to lift / move heavy objects
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist with the operation, maintenance and repair of various equipment.
- Perform preventative maintenance for guest rooms/condos to include: replacing light bulbs, paint touch up, siding repairs, minor plumbing, minor HVAC repair/diagnostic, minor furniture repair, tub caulking, some tile repair work and other misc. duties as assigned.
- Interacts with owners on a regular basis. Provides friendly service to residential and commercial owners.
- Communicates all needed repair work with team and management staff.
- Documents time and materials within our software tracking system.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
