Cayuga Addiction Recovery Services (CARS) Residential Program servesindividuals in the early stages of their substance abuse recovery in this 60-bed residential treatment facility.

Our LPNs contribute to the success of our team and client's recovery by;

• SUPERVISING self-administration of medication

• MONITORING the effects of medication

• EDUCATING clients and staff on COVID safety and protocol

• PRESENTING health – related workshops and programming

• COUNSELING clients one-on-one basis on health matters

• COMMUNICATING with counseling team, clients in recovery and nursing team

• REFERRING and SCHEDULING clients for outside medical appointments

The MUST haves:

Be compassionate and interested in working with individuals in recovery from addiction

• A New York State LPN or GPN
• Ability to pass CPR/First Aid Training in first month of employment

• Ability to learn computer charting systems

• Criminal Background and Drug Testing required

Desired:

• Two (2) years of experience in a hospital/chemical dependency rehabilitation treatment program

• A working knowledge of addiction treatment and recovery

THE WORKING HOURS:

16/7, flex eves and days, every other weekend. Overnight shift is available, as well.
