Discount Drug Mart is currently looking for an individual to fill the Full-Time Loss Prevention or Asset Protection Agent position at our Cleveland/Mentor, OH retail store locations.

The ideal candidate(s) will have a background or education in Criminal Justice and/or Loss prevention.

Responsibilities:

• Be a presence for the store near store front entrance and by the cash register area. Focus will be on being visible to the customers and interact with the customers entering the store.
• The successful candidate will work collaboratively with store level management on a daily basis.
• The successful candidate will carry themselves in an approachable manner and will be customer service orientated, even during uncomfortable situations.
• Must be able to conduct themselves in a respectful and professional manner at all times.
• Conduct investigations, identify any theft or shortage trends and potential risks.
• Walk the entire store once per hour.

Qualifications for Loss Prevention Agent:

• Qualified candidates must have a Criminal Justice background or career path
• Experience with Loss Prevention/Asset Protection, preferably in a retail environment
• Must have a a well-rounded knowledge base of Microsoft Word, Excel and email
• Must have good oral and written communication skills
• The ability to work in a fast-paced team environment as well as disciplined when working alone
• Strong customer service skills
• Must be able to work flexible shifts
