Summary:
The Depot Logistics Department coordinates, processes, and tracks ISO container movements into and out of CBSL Facilities and within the separate internal service sectors. A large variety of orders in varied formats converts them into accurate logistics system entries. Additionally, the Logistics Coordinator closely tracks and verifies all logistical activity to ensure that customer's requirements and demands are acted upon.
Duties include (but not limited to):
- Monitoring all incoming/outgoing orders and work request and properly logging them into logistics tracking and service order systems
- Daily coordination and processing of ISO-Tank Equipment
- Coordination and tracking of all unit movements inbound to, outbound from, and within all service areas while on our site
- Work closely with the operational departments to ensure all services are coordinated promptly and properly
- Construct and schedule work list and loading/unloading list to direct operational departments
- Review and verify units repair documentation and preparation checklist to ensure lading requirements are met previous to yard departure
- Work closely with customer to promptly provide information as needed
- Assist the Logistics Leader in the daily organization and operation of the department
Job Requirements Include:
High School Diploma or equivalent | Experience in fast paced Transportation/Logistics or Repair Shop Environment | Bilingual Preferred | Excellent verbal and written communication skills | Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
