Virtual Relationship Specialist

As a Virtual Relationship Specialist, you will work to retain, deepen, and present curated solutions to our existing clients and demonstrate our value to prospective clients by developing relationships and providing consultation. By listening and engaging with intention at every client interaction, you will work as part of a team to provide an extraordinary client experience and provide financial education to accelerate adoption of alternative First Bank channels and products.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES will include the following, other responsibilities may be assigned:

  • Educates, recommends, and sells products and services, including digital solutions through a comprehensive and consultative approach.
  • Serves as a liaison and collaborating partner with other departments to meet client needs and improve processes throughout the bank.
  • Help transform how our clients bank by providing personalized solutions through virtual channel to improve client accessibility, efficiency, and resources.
  • Opportunities for Training, Leadership Development, and Job advancement with a broad range of exposure and experience in multiple banking channels including retail, business banking, treasury management, mortgage, and wealth management.
  • Works to retain existing client relationships and obtain new ones by conducting calls on maturing accounts, following up on leads, referrals and other prospecting opportunities.
  • Contributes to the Bank's success by identifying sales opportunities and referring clients to the appropriate area. Works towards achievement of team and individual sales, referral and positive outcome goals.
  • Increases sales and cross-sell opportunities by actively participating in all Bank campaigns and educates clients on current promotional offers via out-bound calls.
  • Maintains an accurate accounting of individual referrals and opportunities utilizing internal sales management system.
  • Identifies the need for and originates consumer and business loan applications. Assists in the processing of loan applications and closing.Adheres to all Sales Activity Management Plans and Minimum Performance Expectations for the role.
  • Utilizes sales resources such as the telephone, cold calling, and available qualified leads.
  • Present financial solutions, based on the customer's needs, that meet their goals.
  • Manage the life cycle of a loan and pipeline including complying with all laws and regulations.
  • With management approval, utilizes the Doc Store to find postcards or other marketing material to send out for client mailings.
  • This is a "hybrid" role with both in-office and work remote opportunities

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required; Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Minimum twelve (12) months of successful sales and/or banking experience preferred
  • Experience with review and use of Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Proven successful sales skills
  • Solid interpersonal skills
  • Good analytical skills to review client profile needs and enhance the client experience
  • Ability to engage clients via phone conversations
  • Proficient in the "consultative sales" approach
  • NMLS registration is required if not already registered
  • Multi-lingual, a plus
