Job Description:
Transport goods from manufacturing plants or retail and distribution centers.
Plan routes and meet delivery schedules.
Good communication, customer service, and judgement skills.
Deliver goods while operating a tractor-trailer, sometimes over intercity routes or spanning several states.
Monitor road conditions and watch for traffic congestion.
Follow all applicable traffic laws.
Inspect tractor and trailer before and after the trip, and record and report any defects found.
Follow accident procedures if an accident occurs.
Keep a log of activities via electronic logging device.
Keep the interior of truck and equipment clean and in good working order.
Job Requirements:
Class A CDL Truck Driver
Refrigerated Transportation
Minimum 2 years tractor-trailer experience
Valid Class A CDL License
