Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare consumer and mortgage loan documents.
- Prepare necessary documents and perfect security interest for various types of collateral.
- Order appraisals, title work and verifications.
- Obtain initial insurance on mortgage loans and verify coverage prior to closing.
- Process escrow payments and review escrow analysis statements
- Assist with loan quality control in the area of dealer loans, HMDA, Adverse Action, MPF program, and loan review
- Prepare construction loan payouts and ensure proper 1099M reporting.
- Ensure proper 1099S reporting on real estate transactions.
- Complete setup of new loans on a daily basis.
- Answer loan customer inquiries and payoff inquiries.
- Prepare loan files to be scanned. Check and commit scanned loan documents.
- Prepare various correspondence and loan reports
- Complete compliance training as required
- Cross train with other Lending Team members and support other members as needed.
- Complete all other duties as assigned.
Required Experience and Skills:
- Considerable knowledge and understanding of loan documentation and loan preparation - prior loan experience is helpful.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and computer skills.
- Ability to handle business partners, co-workers, and customers with patience and professionalism.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills - written and verbal.
Job Details
Hourly position at the Community Partners Savings Bank Corporate Center. 40 hours per week, Monday –Friday.
This position is supervised by the VP – Loan Operations Manager.
