*Litigation Paralegal or Legal Assistant* *Hybrid position* *Must have at least one year litigation experience* *Here is a 75 year old firm that represents *private and public sector labor unions and employee benefit plans along with more than fifty international and local labor unions and Taft-Hartley trust funds. In this very strategic position, you will work with unions, labor lawyers and other legal professionals you will gain an opportunity in representing the interests of employees and their unions in class and collective actions against employers. Not much overtime, if at all. *In this highly rewarding Litigation Paralegal role, you will: * File legal briefs or motions; comply with court rules and maintain calendars with all filing deadlines; gather evidence for legal proceedings and communicate with clients. You will also be conducting legal and factual research. Administrative duties include filing, scanning, copying, answering phones, and preparing mailings, occasional drafting of attorney correspondence, research, scheduling of hearings and other meetings and maintaining case status reports. *About you: * You are an experienced litigation paralegal or legal assistant with at least one year experience, a BA degree and Paralegal Certificate. The ideal candidate has an interest in the labor movement or other public interest area. Spanish fluency is a plus but not required.

Pay: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour
