JOB DESCRIPTION
Seeking Agent/Manager/Rep with experience and a broad range of literary, television and feature film industry contacts to exploit worldwide television, film and literary rights for 34 books, a two-volume autobiography, five screenplays and half-dozen treatments about outlaw bikers, the Quebec Biker War and motorcycle clubs.
The author is a subject matter expert (SME) who has spent decades researching and writing about the lifestyle, and his literary work has the potential to be successful in a variety of formats including television, feature film, academic books, podcasts and video games, and would appeal to a broad audience worldwide.
The extensive intellectual property is based on personal experiences, first-hand accounts and interviews, and offers a unique perspective on the sub-culture—it’s not just about violence and crime, but also about the camaraderie, loyalty, and sense of family that exists within these secretive organizations.
DUTIES:
Pitch author's work to studios, networks, broadcasters, showrunners, television producers, feature film producers, directors, television agents, feature film agents, packaging agents, literary managers, academic book editors and academic book publishers internationally.
SALARY:
Standard commission to be paid as normal and customary in the industry.
REQUIREMENTS:
Extensive book publishing, television and/or feature film industry contacts, or access to same, is required. Experience as a literary, television and/or feature film agent or experience at an agency such as ICM/WME/CAA/UTA would be preferred, and experience in the book publishing, television and/or feature film industry would be helpful.

Edward Winterhalder is an American author who has written more than twenty-five books about motorcycle clubs and outlaw biker culture published in the English, French, German and Spanish languages; a television producer who has created programs about motorcycle clubs and the outlaw biker lifestyle for networks and broadcasters worldwide; a singer, songwriter, musician and record producer; and screenwriter.
Winterhalder has produced segments, episodes and documentaries for television such as Gangland, Outlaw Bikers, Gang World, Iron Horses, Marked, Biker Chicz, One Percenters, Recon Commando: Vietnam and Living On The Edge; and is the creator and executive producer of Steel Horse Cowboys, Real American Bikers and Biker Chicz.
A prominent member of the Bandidos motorcycle club from 1997 to 2003 and associate from 1979 to 1996, he was instrumental is expanding the organization worldwide and assigned to coordinate the assimilation of the Rock Machine into the Bandidos during the Quebec Biker War—a conflict that cost more than one-hundred sixty people their lives.
