GENERAL SUMMARY: DELPHINUS ENGINEERING, INC. is seeking Linux Administrators to support U.S. Navy (USN) operations and infrastructure at the Philadelphia Navy Yard (PNY). Duties and responsibilities include the administration of Linux operating systems, specifically Red Hat Enterprise Linux, writing and maintaining BASH and Perl shell scripts, DHCP, DNS, and maintaining DoD STIG Compliance. Individuals have experience in security and network/distributed computing concepts and have strong communication, teamwork, customer relational experience, and strong technical problem-solving skills.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Installation, configuration, and integration for Linux-based systems.
- User-registration
- Support the patching and configuring of Linux operating systems and third-party applications.
- Write and maintain BASH and Perl shell scripts.
- Execution of Red Hat Enterprise Linux file backups.
- Troubleshooting and problem resolution for all Linux systems.
- Installation, configuration, integration, backups, and troubleshooting for servers associated with an Active Directory Domain.
- Ensure compliance with Federal, DoD, and USN Information Assurance (IA) policies.
- Experience in security and network/distributed computing concepts.
- Experience in DHCP, DNS, and maintaining DoD STIG Compliance.
- Maintains current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned.
