Rubber Line Operators are responsible for setting up and running our rubber lines and the secondary equipment. Rubber Line Operators will need to be able to effectively communicate with their Supervisor and other employees. Every employee is responsible for maintaining a safe work environment by following all safety procedures and policies.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Rubber Line set-up: Following our PQS books, set up the rubber lines to produce the required production.
• Secondary set-up: Following our PQS books, move the appropriate secondary equipment in line and set them up to produce the required production.
• Record Production: Utilize our ERP system to accurately track all of your actions performed during the start-up and maintenance of a run.
• Quality: While production is running, continuously checking to make sure the part being produced is within specifications, and if not – making adjustments.
• Preventative Maintenance: Properly clean and store each die after every production run, check belts and wear and tear on machines.
• Accurate Inventory: Weigh all raw materials before and after each production run.
• Cleanliness and Organization: You will be required to maintain a clean and organized work area by wiping, sweeping, vacuuming, and organizing all areas of the facility.

Working Conditions

Plant is partially climate controlled, so you may be working in hot or cool temperatures. Production is ran 24 hours, 5 days a week; so you may be required to work different shifts.

Physical Requirements

Must be able to stand for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently. Must be able to push/pull up to 50 lbs. occasionally. Must be able to reach above shoulder occasionally. Must be able to bend/squat/kneel frequently. Must be able to twist/turn/climb frequently. Must be able to perform simple grasp with both hands. Must be able to perform repetitive motions.
