Good Harvest Market is Waukesha County's largest independently owned natural and organic grocer. We are seeking to hire a part-time line cook for our recently remodeled and rebranded restaurant, Hop Harvest & Vine. Sunday availability is a requirement, other shifts will be more flexible.

Our farm-to-table, community public house concept includes a bar and updated menu focusing on locally sourced, organic and seasonal ingredients. We serve breakfast, lunch, dinner and brunch and make our menu items from scratch.

Responsibilities and Duties

Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:

• Preparing recipes from our full breakfast, lunch, and dinner menus (see link to our menu above)
• Knowledge of kitchen safety and compliance with health code regulations
• Proper knife skills, ability to work safely at a fast pace
• Strong customer service skills
• Maintain a clean and well stocked kitchen
• Work well within a team

Qualifications and Skills

Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years old
• At least 1 year of relevant cooking experience
• Must have flexible retail availability, including a mix of days, evenings, and weekend shifts.
• Ability to work in a fast paced setting
• Ability to follow recipes consistently
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to work in varied temperatures (walk in fridge/freezer, occasionally outdoors)

Preferences:

• ServSafe Certification
• Passion for organic and local fare
