Life Enrichment Coordinator Job at Pisgah Valley Retirement Community

The ideal candidate is capable of taking our programming to the next level by planning and implementing an array of events for Independent Living residents which meet their emotional, social, and intellectual needs.
Job Description:
- Plans monthly newsletter and activities calendar for Independent Living residents.
- Plans, promotes, and leads activities, programs and events that engage and fulfill the needs and interests of the residents.
- Encourages resident participation.
- Assists in the maintenance, storage, and use of activity and event supplies.
- Transports residents to and from offsite activities and events.
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience Activity/Life Enrichment in Independent Living preferred.
- Ability to function well with different residents' personalities and work well with other staff.
- Team player, positive, energetic, and professional.
- Self-motivated and works well independently.
- Ability to read, write, and understand the English language.
- Ability to work well under pressure and use supplies economically.
- Valid Driver’s License, with ability to drive 14 passenger bus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Weekend availability
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)

- Driver's License (Required)
