Lending Administrative Coordinator Job at SAFE Credit Union

POSITION PURPOSE
Responsible for assisting Consumer Lending, Loan Servicing, Collections, Insurance, and Real Estate with administrative duties, with a heavy focus on assisting the Loan Servicing DMV Desk. Prepares documentation for filing sales and use tax refunds.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES

  • Communicate and follow-up with title companies on trailing documents for funded real estate loans.
  • Process RDFs and out-of-state title requests for DMV.
  • Pull paper titles, review loan packets, post DMV fees, compile letters of guarantee, and post insurance checks.
  • Communicate with automobile dealers, and other financial institutions regarding unperfected titles.
  • Complete file order and scanning, including scanning contracts into LPQ, scanning welcome letters on accounts with rate adjustments, etc.
  • Perform miscellaneous lending-related tasks, such as resending welcome letters, making address updates for return mail, pulling DMV records, returning documents via UPS, and rescanning missed documents.
  • Compile all documentation for SAFE and CUDL GAP claims (payment history, check images, KBB documents, contract, etc.).
  • Cancel GAP and extended warranty contracts on repossessed vehicles.
  • Check DOD for members out for repossession to ensure no SCRA restrictions exist.
  • Photocopy all necessary documents for sales and use tax.
  • Calculate and enter all data accurately into CARRS for sales and use tax refund.
  • Print and mail disclosures and adverse action letters.
  • Batch and scan checks for funders and Insurance.
  • Perform mail pickups.
  • Assist with photocopying and filing (consumer, real estate, audit items), as well as batch letter printing.
  • Complete other duties and/or projects, as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Certification:
High school diploma or GED; or one to three months of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Required Knowledge: **
Experience with DU and other AUS/LOS systems preferred. Experience with real estate, mortgage-related, and title documents preferred.
