We are seeking a Legal Administrative Assistant in our Pasadena office. The incumbent will be a highly skilled individual who will be primarily responsible in assisting the legal department with contract management and filing, with responsibility for all aspects of electronic and hard copy records management for the legal department. This person will ideally possess a legal background and have a general understanding of corporate or real estate transactions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Process legal invoices for payment
- Maintain legal department calendar
- Maintain department contact lists
- Organize documents and create files and folders, including indexing of documents
- Participate in general administrative tasks, support to the legal department, and a variety of confidential tasks and special projects, as assigned. These tasks may include, without limitation,
- Help to design and roll out various initiatives designed to create efficiencies within the legal department
- Help to update and maintain various documents and databases
- Help to organize, manage, and maintain legal records, including, but not limited to hard copy and electronic filing of legal documents and email, and processing files for off-site storage
- Help prepare closing binders
- Assist with the processing, execution, and/or distribution of legal documents
- Participate in various projects as assigned
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum 2 years administrative support experience
- Bachelor's Degree required
- General understanding of legal administration and office filing, preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to interact with all levels including, but not limited to, senior management and outside counsel
- Strong Microsoft Office skills a must (Outlook, Word, and Excel)
- Team-oriented, highly motivated, and can-do attitude
- Possess strong organizational skills, have the ability to multi-task, and be detail oriented
- Must be able to handle high volumes of work
- Ability to follow direction from professional staff
- Strong time management and prioritization skills

The expected base salary range for this position is $60,000 USD to $70,000 USD annually. This salary range is an estimate, and the actual salary may vary based on the consideration of many factors, which may include, but are not limited to: the individual’s knowledge, experience, education, qualifications, skills, job location, and the Company’s compensation practices.
