Who We Need

Luthercare for Kids is looking for new full-time and part-time Assistant Teachers with a passion for caring for children and who enjoy helping children learn and grow.

Luthercare for Kids is hiring for our Marietta, Annville, and Reamstown locations, where we operate Child Care and Early Learning Programs for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. We also offer before-and-after school care for elementary age children.

Luthercare’s mission is to reflect Christ’s love through service to others. The need for childcare in our area has never been greater, and parents are struggling to find care for their children. In order to meet this need and serve more children and families, Luthercare for Kids is seeking to hire full-time and part-time Team Members. Our Teachers help to build a strong foundation for children and guide them socially, emotionally, and academically so they’re prepared for success in school and in life.

If you have more than 2,500 hours of experience working with children, this job is for you! Experience working with children does not have to come from a childcare center setting.

Qualifications

· A passion for providing excellent care to children

· More than 2,500 hours of documented experience caring for children.

o Examples include: Sunday School Teacher, Coach, Babysitter, Nanny, After-School Group Leader, etc.

· Excellent communication skills and the ability to contribute to an atmosphere of positivity and teamwork each day

· Basic computer skills

· 18 years or older with a high school diploma or a general educational development certificate

· A valid PA driver’s license
