Position Summary:
We are seeking a Lead Sage 100 Specialist who will be responsible for overseeing software implementation projects and providing support to our users. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of the Sage 100 application and modules, leading and building a team, as well as experience in project management and user-facing roles. This position will be reporting to our Chief Information Officer.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth discovery meetings with users to understand their complex business requirements and operational objectives.
- Produce professional documentation of current challenges, future requirements, and benefits in a manner appropriate for users.
- Perform project scoping, planning, business process mapping, and user acceptance testing.
- Lead configuration sessions with users and provide guidance to both internal and customer implementation teams.
- Deliver insightful, engaging training sessions via phone, web, recorded, or in-person.
- Provide prompt, professional customer service and support through our ticketing system.
- Actively participate in the software implementation process and manage a small team of Sage Specialists.
- Contribute to the business development process by participating in sales calls, assisting with proposal development, and delivering presentations.
- Respond to support tickets and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Attending project status meetings and travel to sites as needed.
Qualifications:
- 6+ years of experience as a Sage 100 consultant or implementing similar midmarket ERP solutions.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Proficiency in project scoping, planning, requirements gathering, and business process mapping.
- Ability to utilize defined and structured implementation processes and project management methodologies.
- Talent for handling multiple projects successfully while meeting deadlines.
- Solid understanding of common industry business practices related to accounting, sales/manufacturing/inventory management, as well as an advanced understanding of accounting theory, accounting systems and US GAAP.
- Exceptional organizational, time management, communication, and listening skills.
- Outstanding interpersonal, customer service, decision-making, and analytical abilities.
- Working knowledge of MS Office, Outlook, and proficiency with CRM tools.
- Ability to travel, as needed.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $135,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
