Lakeview Center Rental Attendant
Job Summary: The Lakeview Center Rental Attendant is responsible for the safety and security of the building or area and all guests during rented event.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- None
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- Open building or area and check to determine it is safe to host event
- Empty and secure building or area at the completion of rental
- Set up and take down rooms or areas for rentals including tables and chairs
- Interact with renters to ensure all guidelines are being adhered to
- Respond to the needs of the renters and visitors throughout the duration of their visit
- Provide information to the public regarding programming at Gillson Park and throughout the Park District
- Comply with established Park District and site procedures
- Actively support the agencys risk management protocol that will effectively control and reduce accidents
- Obey the practical safety rules, regulations and procedures established by the Safety Committee, attend and participate in required safety trainings
- Promptly report all unsafe actions, practices or conditions to the immediate supervisor
- Perform other related duties as assigned, based on agency needs
Required Skills/Abilities (Technology, Mathematical, Language):
- Ability to deliver information in a clear and effective manner
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Strong problem-solving skills

Education and/or Experience:
- Must be at least 16 years of age
Physical Requirements/Work Environment:
- Must be able to remain in a seated position for multiple hours at a time
- Occasionally required to stand, walk, sit and climb or balance
- Tolerate a moderate to high noise level at times
- Must be able to lift and/or move 25 pounds
Required Certificates/Licenses/Registrations:
- American Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED
