A global player for cutting and binding components in the agriculture industry is currently hiring for an Assembler/General Laborer. As an Assembler your primary responsibility is to set up and assemble components utilizing automatic equipment and hand tools in accordance with bills of material, blueprints, and work instructions. This includes, but is not limited to, set up, operation, inspection, and final packaging of a variety of components related to the agriculture industry. You should be able to read and understand standard work instructions, blueprints, inspection plans, and other manufacturing aids.

Requirements of the Assembler/General Laborer:

• Minimum 1 year assembly experience in a production setting
• Solid understanding of standard work and documentation procedures in manufacturing
• Ability to read, understand and apply production blueprints, assembly instructions, and quality plans
• Ability to inspect work according to defined instructions utilizing basic inspection gauges such as tape measures, calipers, torque wrenches, etc.
• Demonstrate reliable work and attendance history
• Ability to work in team environment, multiple roles based on changing work schedules
• Manual lifting up to 40 pounds repetitive and handle sharp objects carefully
• Positive attitude
• Effective verbal and written communication skills and ability to take direction
• Demonstrated experience in manufacturing shop floor environment and understanding of shop floor safety practices and work roles

Compensation and Benefits for the Assembler/General Laborer:

• $14.00 to $15.00/hour Based on experience

Responsibilities of the Assembler/General Laborer:

• Set up and prepare automatic assembly equipment to produce parts to customer specification.
• Utilize hand tools, including air tools, torque wrenches, and various wrench styles to assemble items to customer specification.
• Ensure that machines are producing quality products by managing periodic checks on output according to inspection plans.
• Clean up machine parts and workstations after finished production orders, comply with 5S audits.
• Achieve production goals set out by production planning and leadership.
• Perform other tasks as deemed necessary by supervisor and management.

Hours for the Assembler/General Laborer:

• 1st shift works 6:45am-3:30pm
