About Us: The Lodge of Lazarus Crowe is a new type of Escape Room experience that encourages puzzlers to revel in curiosity and exploration. We are looking for energetic & outgoing individuals to join the bar and kitchen team at our new Saint Paul location! You would work in a quick-service kitchen and bar environment that invites guests to play and stay in the mysterious world of The Lodge.

No post-secondary degree or diploma required, just an awesome attitude and some experience.

  • Uphold all standards set in the kitchen - from delivery to being served to a guest
  • Follow all recipes, preparation procedures, and par levels as determined by Cafe Manager
  • Work service with urgency, striving to meet or exceed expectations for food delivery times
  • Communicate ordering needs accurately and effectively to Cafe Manager
  • Maintain a clean and organized space regardless of business level and adhere to the highest standards of sanitation and hygiene
  • Work with the Cafe Manager to ensure continuous compliance with all relevant federal/state/local laws, insurance requirements, and company policies by maintaining employee safety within the kitchen and cafe space while being proactive about potential challenges to the welfare of staff and guests.

Working Conditions / Essential Functions

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs which will include days, nights, weekends and holidays as well as emergency responsiveness as required (Wednesdays through Sundays)
  • Able to work eight hour-plus shifts, plus ability to stand, sit, squat or walk for extended periods of time, walk up and down stairs
  • Able to grasp, reach overhead, push, lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced, ever changing work environment
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of health and sanitation code and policies
  • Organized with strong attention to detail
  • High integrity and professionalism
  • A positive, joyful, upbeat and energetic attitude – leading by example

Ideal candidates will be 21+ and have a minimum of 1 years’ experience, as a bartender, server, cook, or cashier in a restaurant and bar. Upbeat, organized, hard worker with great communication skills and a passion for giving guests outstanding dining experiences is a must. If you have the desire to join a fun, busy and profitable restaurant team we’d love to meet you.
