Dykes Veterinary Clinic is a multi-doctor practice that has been serving the Foley, Alabama community since 1989. We provide experienced full service care for routine medical, surgical, or dental needs as well as tackle emergency cases with our tenured team of support staff. We treat small animals, avian/exotics and pocket pets using all the bells and whistles, including digital radiography, ultrasound, a dedicated surgical suite, AVImark practice management software and more. We are seeking a Full-Time Kennel Technician to help provide outstanding patient care and client service in a fast-paced, multi-doctor animal hospital.
The Kennel Tech is responsible for maintaining back of hospital duties. These tasks include: caring for boarding animals, maintaining appropriate feeding schedules/providing prescribed medication to pets, maintaining the kennel area (cleaning and mopping), bathing animals and upholding the highest level of care for all pets. Additional duties may include general cleaning of the hospital and communicating directly with clients.
Applicants must demonstrate professionalism, dependability, healthy and positive communication skills, and the ability to multi-task. Our next team member will be an energetic people-and-pet person with excellent work ethic and social and organizational skills. Must be willing and able to work flexible hours and weekends.
