Clark County Juvenile Detention Center-SERIOUS APPLICANTS ONLY
$17 an hour upon hire - Part-time with the potential for full time advancement after training.

Full time employees will receive county benefits; and a starting salary of $40076.00 annually. Must initially start out Part time and complete all required training to be eligible to apply for available full time positions. There are full time night shift positions currently available to eligible applicants after a minimum of 30 days of training at full time hours.

Part time employees have very flexible scheduling, hours vary based on employee availability to work.

Juvenile Detention Facility currently accepting applications for juvenile correctional officers. You must be at least 21 years of age, have a valid driver's license, at a minimum possess a high school diploma or equivalent, have clean state, national, & child protective services records checks, successfully complete a pre-employment physical, and a drug screen. Must have references.
Experience working with youth is preferred. Juvenile correction officers maintain the safety and security of incarcerated youth in a maximum security facility.
Hours vary and are based on your availability. Days, Nights, Weekends, and Holiday hours available. Full time positions are only filled from our part-time roster. We currently have openings on all shifts (day/night/weekends). Earning Overtime is possible at this time.
