NES Group Architects is a growing design firm, located in Mansfield, Massachusetts, specializing in financial institution design. The firm is seeking a full time Junior Interior Designer to join the team.

Working under the direction of the Senior Interior Designer you will assist in all phases of a design project from schematic design through construction administration.

Required Qualifications:

· Interior Design or Interior Architecture degree from an accredited program

· 4 years of experience working for a design or architecture firm on commercial projects

· Revit, Enscape, Photoshop, Bluebeam Revu and Microsoft Office

· Strong design, graphic and presentation skills demonstrated with work samples

· Experience with the selection and specification of interior finishes, furniture and lighting

· Ability to design in 3 dimensions (floors, walls, ceilings)

· Comfortable interfacing and collaborating with staff architects and project managers as well as clients, consultants and contractors

· Flexibility to work both collaboratively and independently on projects

What you will do:

· Assist in developing interior design concepts in response to client program and desires

· Assist in selecting materials, furniture finishes, decorative lighting and millwork design

· Assist in preparing renderings and presentation decks to communicate design intent

· Assist in preparing construction document details to support the design including floor finish plans, interior elevations, millwork details, schedules and ceiling plans.

· Ensure that all projects are carried out to specific standards, building codes, guidelines and regulations

· Review and determine adequacy of shop drawings and submittals

· Attend job meetings or site visits as required

· Prepare finish boards as needed

· Mange the resource library by scheduling and meeting with industry reps in order to keep products up to date and fresh

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
