Arizona Placement Concepts is an agency that has been in business for 13 years providing exceptional employment services to individuals with disabilities.

We are seeking an experienced Job Coach/Job Developer in Tucson, AZ to supervise and train high school graduates and adults with special needs in a simulated work setting. Job Coaches provide supervision and training to clients at their preferred work site, helping them be successful in achieving their goals and objectives for future competitive employment.

As a Job Developer you will also be responsible for networking and placing your clients into the community based on your clients employment goals.

Requirements:

• Current fingerprint clearance card
• Either one of the following criteria's below

1.Has a Masters Degree in a related field (e.g., Rehabilitation Counseling, Psychology, Sociology, Education, etc.) and documentation of (1) year of Full Time employment working with individuals with disabilities; or

2.Has a Bachelors Degree in a related field (e.g., Rehabilitation Counseling, Psychology, Sociology, Education, etc.) and documentation of (3) year of Full Time employment working with individuals with disabilities

3. Has a Associates Degree in a related field (e.g., Rehabilitation Counseling, Psychology, Sociology, Education, etc.) and documentation of (1) year of Full Time employment working with individuals with disabilitiesResponsibilities:

• Supervise work sites and clients daily.
• Cover shifts for employee call outs as needed
• Market daily with outside establishments as needed
• Assessing the individual’s skills daily, teaching the individuals how to perform daily tasks at their job-site efficiently.
• Work one on one with individuals at the job site, analyzing the job requirements and breaking it into manageable components that can be taught to the individual.
• Establishing and maintaining a positive rapport with training sites management
• Maintain and provide detailed records of individual in accordance with company policy and procedures.
• Accurately submitting daily documentation and monthly reports in a timely manner
• Reporting with supervisors daily
• Networking with employers in the community
• Job search and place clients in the community based on their employment goals.

Working Conditions

Work will take place at Job Training Sites, the community, and Arizona Placement Concepts office.
