Today we are looking to hire a Java Developer to join our team of solid technologists who are creating digital solutions for our clients!
What you will do!
- Will effectively work in a team environment and focus on delivering value for the client
- Design, develop, and test client solutions using standards and frameworks as defined by the team.
- Execute tasks and communicate progress clearly.
- Develop high quality deliverables using source control, branching, and merge strategies.
- Use technical problem-solving skills and communicate any impediments to project completion.
- Support development of process automation initiatives and modernization projects.
- Design, document, and help optimize the CI/CD strategies to reduce costs while ensuring quality.
- Collaborate with other development team members and external teams when needed.
What we would like to see!
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or another related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on Java software and API development experience, and full life cycle implementation experience using various SDLC methodologies.
- Must have prior hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, AWS, PostgreSQL, and Front-End Languages (HTML, JavaScript, CSS).
- Experience with multiple web service technologies including XML, JSON, REST, SOAP.
- Experience with various Java frameworks (JEE, Spring, Spring Boot, JUnit, AOP, JPA)
- Knowledge of Java build tools and dependency management (Gradle, Maven)
- Experience with containerizing applications a plus.
- Experience with Angular, Ember, and Vue a plus.
- Experience with automated testing frameworks such as Jasmine and Cucumber
- Experience with Continuous Integration automation using tools like Jenkins
- Experience with Git and Git Flow.
- Experience using Agile methodologies.
- Previous consulting or client facing experience
- Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills.
- Team player with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
