Evening Shift- 5:30pm-2:00am / Sunday-Thursday/ Domingo-Jueves

The position of Waxer/Floor Person needs to be knowledgeable in treatment and maintenance of carpets, marble, tile, linoleum and stone. He/she is responsible for stripping the floor with the machine. He/she applies the wax, then buffs floor with the buffer. He/she sweeps and mops the floor then scrubs them with the scrubber. The employee vacuums and spot clean carpets. He/she also shampoos and steam cleans the carpets. The waxer/floor person is responsible for the complete cleanliness of the facility.

Essential Work Functions:

• Must operate all floor equipment, safely.
• Must clean carpets, vacuum, steam clean, spot clean.
• Must clean all types of floors.
• Apply wax, buff and polish.
• Must do basic windows.

Work Functions: Waxer

· Experienced with floor machines and floor care and carpet cleaning process

· Able to lift floor machines

· Steam clean upholstered furniture.

· Spot clean carpets

· Machine Scrub bathroom floors.

· Keep inventory of supplies

· Able to communicate at a functional level with his/her direct supervisor.

· Able to follow directions and instructions.

· Able to use cleaning products and equipment.

· Maintain floor equipment clean and properly serviced

· Maintain vehicle clean and orderly.
