IT Security Manager Job at Princeton Theological Seminary
A. Title: IT Security Manager
B. Status: Exempt, Administrator
C. Purpose: Ensure Seminary systems are appropriately secure and available during normal usage, and resilient to various natural or human-made disasters.
D. Supervision: Reports to the Chief Information Officer.
E. Responsibilities:
1. Work with administration to develop, achieve and maintain the Seminary’s ISMS to ISO 27001 certification path, with focus on the following areas:
A. Audit and Assessment regarding security controls.
B. Risk Analysis and Registry Upkeep.
C. Policy Development and Stewardship.
2. Design and maintain the Seminary’s disaster recovery (DR) and business continuity plans (BCP) to aid in the integrity and availability of business and teaching and learning systems.
3. Develop and manage systems and procedures for identity and access management including authentication systems.
4. Manage the institutions PCI compliance, “Red Flags”, and other regulatory requirements including FERPA as it relates to IT Services.
5. Coordinate the manage and maintenance of all seminary IT security systems, including end point software, perimeter firewalls, intrusion detection, and intrusion prevention systems to assume adequate system security.
6. Develop and provide robust training to end users on security processes and procedures; educate users on the risks and importance of proper usage. Integrate with HR for department and individual role accoubtability,
7. Work with network support team to ensure system uptime through monitoring, log aggregation, updates, and other threat mitigation systems.
8. Complete other duties as assigned.
F. Qualifications:
1. 5+ years’ hands-on experience in regards to Information Security. Microsoft solutions are a plus.
2. Security certification required, such as CISSP, ITCA. CISA, CRISC, CISM, CSX-P, are a plus.
3. Ability to work productively both independently and in a team.
4. Excellent organizational and time management skills.
5. Demonstrated ability to understand and support technical systems where standardized training is not available.
6. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
7. Demonstrated ability to keep technical knowledge and skillsets current.
8. 4+ years’ experience working with various WAN/LAN disk and tape backup systems in a mixed Windows/Linus, database, and Virtualized/Physical server environment.
9 . Experience with Active Directory, Shibboleth/SAML, and other security, authentication, and identity management systems.

Pay: $36,786.00 - $134,172.00 per year
