General Description:

We are looking for an enthusiastic IT Coordinator to support our team with administrative and technical tasks. The IT Coordinator will be required to provide basic technical assistance such as the setting up and cleaning of equipment, assisting staff with entry level technical needs, providing end user training and assistance where required. The IT Coordinator will have high-level administrative skills, technical training, and the ability to work in a high-pressure environment. IT Coordinator provides valuable and reliable support in and out of the office, organized and detail oriented, and can multitask and prioritize using good time management skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required and should be able to work well independently but also as part of a team. The position will be a combination of in-office and remote work based on project and staff technology support needs.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the setup of equipment for new staff.
  • Collect, clean, and track equipment that is returned to the tech office.
  • Provide in office support to staff and projects as needed.
  • Assist with maintaining documentation of internal processes, system license, equipment, upgrade schedules, and vendor contact information.
  • As needed and required, install, configure, test, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot end user equipment.
  • Triage incoming support requests to our technology partner.
  • Receive and respond to incoming calls, and/or e-mails regarding PC and/or cell phone hardware/ software problems.
  • Provide technical support and solve routine issues promptly.
  • Document solutions for recurring requests and issues, including internal department and end-user documentation.
  • Ensure timely communication between IT and end-users through continuous status information.
  • Act as a technical resource for other departments.
  • Provide training and support to end users.

Other Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Participate in All-Staff and other TRE facilitated meetings and activities.
  • Participate and engage in trainings and development opportunities.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications:

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to work independently while working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  • Strong communicator who can determine the appropriate vehicle and style to communicate complex technical concepts to a largely non-technical audience.
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Must be able to filter out what needs to be prioritized and decide what problems need to be solved first.
  • Strong project management and time management skills with the proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Experience working with diverse populations.
  • Self-motivated and directed.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to multi-task and adhere to strict deadlines.

Education and Experience Requirements:

Minimum: High school diploma or GED. Experience working in Information Technology. Proficient with basic computer programs including MS Office and database systems.

Preferred: Associate degree in Information Technology. Practical experience of management and administration of IT systems and applications, troubleshooting and resolving issues. Technological certificates. Knowledge using Azure, Intune, and Asset Panda.

Material and Equipment Directly Used: Computers/tablets, Printers, Copy Machines, Personal Vehicle, Cell phones/telephone, Cloud based systems and software, etc.

Working Environment/Physical Activities: Office, community, private residences, commercial properties, and virtual environment settings. Moderate physical activity required, such as walking, sitting, standing, and lifting up to 20 pounds. (ADA accommodations at the request of the employee.) A working vehicle, valid CO driver’s license (unless active Military family), and auto insurance coverage with bodily injury and property damage liability coverage ($100,000/$300,000/$100,000 coverage recommended) are required.
