The Investor Relations Manager will be responsible for building strong relationships with the financial community and further develop and assist in executing the company’s investor relations program.

Responsibilities:

• Develop strong relationships with shareholders and attract new investors, whose objectives match up well with Magnolia’s strategy.
• Help facilitate the corporate message to investors, analysts, and other stakeholders.
• Organize and participate in meetings with investors and respond to inquiries.
• Support the quarterly earnings reporting process. Manage quarterly earnings reports and materials and work closely with legal, accounting, and other internal stakeholders.
• Provide market intelligence and relevant information to executive leadership.
• Manage the earnings calls, including logistics, conference calls, website updates, document management, etc.
• Develop talking points in response to anticipated investor questions and prepare leadership for earnings calls and investor meetings.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable securities regulations and provide guidance to leadership and employees.
• Help coordinate and assist with annual sustainability report and ESG matters.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required (MBA, CFA, CPA, preferred).
• 5+ years relevant experience within the Oil and Gas/Energy industry. Corporate IR experience within Energy preferred.
• Strong communicator (written and verbal) with high attention to detail. Proficient in creating and delivering presentations.
• Good discretion around sensitive information and ability to exercise sound judgment in communicating results.
• Strong business acumen.
• Can work in a fast-paced, demanding environment, with the ability to embrace change.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office including Powerpoint, Excel (including strong financial modeling skills), and Word
• Ability and willingness to travel.
