Inventory Transfer Specialist Job at Happy Valley
Thursday - Sunday, 7:00am - 6:00pm
The Inventory Transfer Specialist works directly with the Production manager, Kitchen, Flower and Vape managers to ensure all packaging materials are brought from the retail garage/warehouse and stored on the second floor in the dedicated cages ready for production. The Inventory Transfer Specialist must identify and document all items picked from the retail garage/warehouse helping to maintain a working inventory for consumables. Maintain and restock the master case boxing area, ensuring the production runs never stop.
Responsibilities include:
- Organize and maintain consumable inventory in retail garage/warehouse space.
- Refill spray bottles with Isopropyl alcohol and towels weekly, or as needed.
- Remove all trash / cardboard from second floor twice a day .
- Restock hallway cages with consumables according to Production managers’ needs listed on the Production Needs Board.
- Communicate any shortfalls in inventory to Supply Chain Department.
- Daily communication with all floor supervisors ensuring all packaging needs are met for production.
- Organize / maintain all storage cages on the second floor.
- Ensure all master-cased PO’s are securely transferred from room 221 to the Inventory Technician responsible for the vault.
- Conduct final inspections on all master cases before leaving room 221 to ensure they are compliant according to the master case SOP.
- Maintain pre-determined master-case par levels in the storage cages (and in room 221 if necessary.)
- Keep the master-casing area in room 221 clean and clutter free.
- Utilize a pull list when restocking to minimize extensive trips to the ware house.
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly inventory of packaging supplies as requested by Supply Chain department.
- On occasion, transfer packaging materials from external warehouses to 38 Great Republic Drive.
- Assist the Packaging department with production, as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be organized and have a great attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Able to multi-task and work independently
Required Skills
- Knowledge of all consumables
- Ability to analyze and solve problems.
- Ability to prepare routine administrative paperwork.
- Basic math skills
Location and Travel Requirements:
- This position is located at 38 Great Republic Drive, Gloucester, MA
- Travel between company locations, occasionally
