Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Orders parts and services to include providing information to generate a purchase order and maintaining records of ordering history.
- Assist customers with sourcing parts in CMMS
- Document activities from pocket cards into CMMS
- Receive parts and service. Verify packing list against purchase order, record paperwork and place received items in designated locations.
- Organize parts room with ease of use & efficiency in mind. Label all shelving units and bins. Ensure all parts are in the correct locations. Sweep area and maintain cleanliness.
- Complete a physical inventory of the parts room to validate computer inventory. Notify buyer when inventory is at reorder point
- Conduct a complete physical cycle count of all parts annually.
- Maintain maintenance files, including vendor, services, projects, equipment and employee records.
- Assist department with other duties as assigned including at times assisting in equipment repair.
- Maintain work order & P.M. system by entry phase, assignment phase, parts phase and completion phase.
- Maintain equipment history by asset. This includes addition and deletion of assets as required. This area includes maintenance records by asset.
- Must be able to comprehend and comply with all OSHA and company safety and electrical regulations including Lock Out / Tag Out, and Arc Flash protection
