Haven Living, a brick and mortar and online home decor store located in Heber City, Utah, is a collaboration of two friends who are passionate about curating beautiful, timeless home decor, accents and gifts, with pops of fashion, jewelry, baby gifts and more! All things to make your life beautiful.

Our new store in Midway is opening this summer and our Heber City warehouse is busy receiving merchandise for our brick and mortar store and for our online store which is growing nationally. We are ready for a team leader with previous retail experience who is looking for an opportunity to unleash their talent in organization and strategy who can lead a team and help our company grow.

This job is somewhat flexible and part time with morning/early afternoon hours. The commitment is to work physically at our store/warehouse in Heber City.

Major Responsibilities:

The Haven Living Inventory Supervisor is responsible for the overall management of inventory for the company. This includes tasks such as:

• Tracking inventory levels: Keep accurate records in the POS system of the quantity of each item in inventory, through physical counts, perpetual inventory systems, and receiving reports.
• Inventory organization: Keep the warehouse organised and the storage and handling of merchandise carefully processed and protected to reduce damage.
• Inventory planning: Plan inventory levels based on sales and demand to ensure the company has the right amount of inventory on hand to meet customer demand.
• Inventory shrinkage: Track inventory shrinkage and identify loss of inventory due to theft, damage, or other factors.
• Inventory cycle counting in Midway and Heber: Conduct and or train team members to conduct periodic inventory counts to ensure inventory records are accurate. This helps prevent fraud and ensures the company has a clear understanding of its inventory assets.
• Inventory reporting: Generate reports to track inventory levels, sales, and other metrics. This information helps management make decisions regarding inventory levels, pricing, etc.

The Haven Living Inventory Supervisor is a critical role in the company who helps the company to improve its efficiency, profitability, and customer service.

In addition to the above responsibilities, the Haven Living Inventory Supervisor may be responsible for the following:

• Training and developing inventory staff: Train inventory personnel and hold Inventory employees accountable for performance and scheduled shifts
• Work with Online Supervisor to ensure inventory is available to fulfill orders
• Work with Midway Sales Supervisor to manage supply and demand of goods in Midway.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor's degree required
• Skills: The Inventory Supervisor should have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. They should also be proficient in Microsoft Excel and other inventory management software.
• Knowledge: The Inventory Supervisor should have a working knowledge of inventory management principles and practices
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
• Ability to see effects of decision prior to implementing
• Able to prioritize work effectively while juggling multiple tasks
• Highly motivated to grow and learn
• Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs, dealing with ambiguity
