Title: Purchasing/Inventory Control Coordinator

Pay: $20 per hour

Days: Monday-Friday 5 days per week (40 hours per week)

Hours: 8:00 am - 4:30 pm

Start Date: ASAP

Location: Northeast San Diego County (Santa Ysabel)

Responsibilities:
· Work with company department managers to determine purchasing needs and requirements for production, office supplies and materials

· Identify the most appropriate supplier for the designated product, determine availability, perform comparative pricing and negotiate pricing, confirm quality of products and establish delivery requirements/timelines

· Perform all purchasing functions, such as issuing purchase orders (PO’s), invoice creation, pricing verification, payment authorization, complete entries into accounting system

· Identify and resolve any and all issues related to product quality, pricing, delivery, utilization, loss

· Perform inventory cycle counts, spot counts and month end reconciliation process; research any variances and authorize appropriate inventory adjustments

· Conduct records audit of inventory, adjustments and other metrics and prepare monthly/ quarterly/ annual reports of findings to management

· Receive all supplies and materials and enter into database

· Perform various projects/tasks needed by management

· Tracking inventory, controlling the flow of equipment, and the ordering of supplies

· Advise on process improvements and report finding to management

· Develop a standard reordering of inventory process and ensure inventory was received. Able to organize, inspect, and efficiently track inventory.

· Compile inventory reports and report to management

· Able to address problems and resolve challenges with minimal supervision and capable of forecasting future inventory requirements

· Knowledge of Tradogram

Skills:

· Experience in purchasing and inventory control management

· Strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task and exercise independent judgment

· Must be detail-oriented

· Able to work with internal and external contacts

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Qualifications:

· Some college desirable

· Demonstrate proficiency in Google Workplace, particularly GoogleSheets

· Knowledge of Quickbooks Enterprise is a Plus

· Agricultural experience is a Plus
